I love MC club romances and this one was great one. The story of Harley and Ford starts with them very young and a pregnancy, then 18 years later Harley comes back in town when her dad dies and Ford has joined the Hell Hounds MC, Ford regrets how he handles Harley pregnancy and wants to know about the baby but Harley has been hurt by her family about the baby. When Ford finds out what happened to the baby he and his brothers come to his aid and Harley starts to feel love and hope for Ford and Ford never stop loving her but was stupid. Some of the story is so painful and Beautiful, loved Harley dog Bronx and all the characters of Hell Hounds MC. Can't wait to read about Exe story! Would recommend this book!💗💗💗💗💗Product details

Omg I loved this book from the very beginning. Young love and the separated cause of decisions and then brought back together. I have read a lot of MC books and I would have to say this definitely would be at the top of my list of favorites. After so many years Harley and Ford still have the same love they shared when they were younger. I loved how the rest of the brothers all thought of her as family when they didn't even no her and how it grew even more further into the book. There is action, loyalty, family and love in this book and I think it's awesome!!!!!
This is one of the best MC books I have read in a long time. This book had me hooked from the beginning. It's full of action from the start to the finish! This Author is creative and I can't wait to read the next book! This is one I will read again! Great work!
Wow this is a brilliant read, the ordeals that they go through are so horrendous especially the daughter and grandson. I read this in 1 sitting just couldn't put the book down. I'm still sitting on the edge of my seat can't wait for Tortured Love. Sandra Richmond a brilliant author😀

My poor heart hurts for Avery losing Colt but I see Exe coming in and saving her heart and soul! I can not wait for book two.
Ford is love fire and attitude that made this story. The love him and Harley have is beautiful
It astounds me that the majority of the reviews are 5 star. I gave this book two stars because of the incredible potential in the story. There has to be a certain level of realism for fiction to be believable, sadly there isn't any in this book. It does not appear that this novel was edited, and that is the true tragedy. If this book was edited, or proof read at all, honest feedback was not given. The emotional trauma of the initial situation, and the fallout trauma (in just the portion I read), would have been so gripping the story would have stayed with the reader long after the novel was completed.
The misuse of colloquialisms, euphemisms, slang, and grammar (a lot of past tense verbiage in present tense situations), was so distracting that I couldn't overlook the misuse to enjoy the story, and I TRIED! The story starts off eighteen years prior to give history, then fast forward eighteen years to the present. Harley has so much pain and animosity towards Ford, whom she hasn't seen in eighteen years, yet within a few short hours (over the span of a couple of days) we're to believe the sexual tension is so thick it distracts her from the pain, anger, and devastation that she's nursed for eighteen years? Within those same few hours, Harley has very limited interaction with a couple of the MC members and all of a sudden she's cooking breakfast for "those knuckleheads" out of appreciation for what they're helping her with. Showing appreciation is believable, however the knucklehead endearment does not ring true, and unfortunately there are many of these situations - at least in the initial 40% that I read. Not enough time is spent between characters to believe the depth of connection the author attempts to convey.
Then there is the vernacular; it's inconsistent. There's a mixture of gang slang, some MC slang, etc. I don't expect these guys to be Rhodes Scholars, but they're not bumbling idiots, and unfortunately the inconsistency in their speech makes them appear so. With the amount of vernacular inconsistency, grammar issues, misuse of slang, etc., it's difficult to determine if any of it was intentional on the author's part or due to poor/lack of editing.
I would have, without question, given this book a better rating had it not been for the poor grammar. The book is rampant with grammatical errors that should have been learned in the second grade. If the author does not know the fundamentals of grammar than certainly the editor certainly should have. There is simply no excuse for a writer to not know the difference between there, their, they're, to and too or my favorite passed and past. If a reader is able to get by that, it unfortunately does not stop there. It is important to me that I point out that there is no such thing as "should/would or could OF". Could've, yes. Could have, yes. Could of, epic fail. If I believed it was the kindle version, perhaps I could have gotten by it. However, in reading this book, it was astonishingly apparent that it was written having no idea that it was incorrect.
The story in and of itself was good. The reader could connect with the characters easily. I felt invested in the characters and their outcome.
This was light on the romance and big on the action and suspense. If you like hearts and flowers this one isn't for you but if you love action and adventure with violence and suspense then get your one click finger to clicking ) Overall great story that kept me wondering what would happen next.
Okay I have been thinking on this and trying to pinpoint my thoughts. This was gritty and raw. Ford and the hell hounds have a very tight bond that I loved. The banter and interaction between everyone was entertaining and made me laugh a few times which was needed after some of the dark. This book was violent and detailed, a bit gruesome with some of the details but fits the characters and the world they live in. I am excited to learn more about Avery. Great debut Sandra.
